About Genevieve

Genevieve Chan is a seasoned professional with a career spanning over 20 years acrossasset management and private wealth management in Asia. She specializes in C-suite and senior leadership placements across the financial services sector.

Prior to joining Dresden Green, Genevieve spent two decades at GAM Hong Kong as a Client Director and was the Responsible Officer. She oversaw both the institutional and private wealth distribution business in Asia ex-Japan, driving sales growth for the company’s diverse investment solutions businesses, including fixed income, equities, alternatives and multi-asset platforms. Her tenure was marked by her high-stakes relationships with global asset management companies, private banks, SWFs, pensions and asset allocators. ​

Genevieve began her career at Goldman Sachs Hong Kong, where she developed a foundational expertise in market dynamics and client advisory. She was at Sales & Trading within the Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities division, and later as a Financial Analyst at the Private Wealth Management. This combination of top-tier banking experience and long-term asset management leadership allows her to utilize her extensive financial network and offer clients a consultative partnership that enable to identify and place high-impact leadership talent.​

Genevieve holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Economics from Tufts University in Massachusetts, USA.  Genevieve is based in Hong Kong.​
